Heart of
Darkness.
I have to read it for a class, and it is really great. I wish I never stopped reading as much as I used to. Joseph Conrad was insane, I mean the guy taught himself english- at 25. after knowing only polish, french, and Russian. and he made this book as beautifully written as it is? Fucking nuts.
Side note- Freud was kind of a dick. and he pretty much just did case studies, so I have an impossible time taking the Oedipus and Electra complexes seriously.
